GAME

The SOUTH PACIFIC ADVENTURES game is unique in that the length of a game is directly determined by the number of people playing and the number of TRADE CARDS that are to be played.  Less players, and choosing to play fewer TRADE CARDS, result in a shorter playing time.  Typically, a game with 3 players playing 3 TRADE CARDS would require about 1 hour.

SOUTH PACIFIC ADVENTURES will comfortably accommodate 2 to 6 players.

The SOUTH PACIFIC ADVENTURES game helps to build both cognitive and organizational skills within the player.  A skilled player utilizing these skills may gain an edge over less experienced players . . . although, the game is dynamic, so even the most novice of players has the ability to be a winner!

The “shipping lanes” contain arrowed, colored spaces (RED or YELLOW) which when landed upon determine whether a player must proceed onto an adjacent path – “pathway taking them off-course” (to either the right or left).  A player is only required to move “off-course” when the player is moving in the same direction as shown on the arrow within the space.  After landing on a space requiring the player to go “off-course”, the player, on their next turn, must roll the die and proceed to the adjacent island.  Once the player arrives to the island, the player must draw from the appropriate card decks on subsequent turns (Island Cards or Danger Island Cards).  They must remain on the island until the player draws a card providing for “rescue”.
