This is a GREAT game

Playing South Pacific Adventures is exactly that…an  ADVENTURE!  It’s a combination of luck, strategy and humor with loads of twists along the way up until the very end.  It is original and different from any board game I’ve ever played.  South Pacific Adventures appeals to me even more than the timeless classic, Clue, because it is more exciting and dynamic during play.

The last time I played I was sailing smoothly on the high seas until an unfortunate roll of die forced me off course to Danger Island.  A couple of turns later, a drawn card and a lucky roll let me off Danger Island and back on course to make my coffee delivery on Fiji.  Luck can change in an instant for better or worse after a single die roll or drawn card!

It’s anybody’s game to win or to lose and it is especially nice that SPA is a game for all ages so long as the player can read and understand the drawn cards.  It is a flexible board game that the whole family can play together or that friends of similar ages can enjoy too.

Where reality meets fantasy

One of the things I like about South Pacific Adventures, unlike any other board game I've ever played (well except maybe Risk), this game takes place in an actual location - the South Pacific.  Even the 4 port islands are real, and for all I know the commodities that ship between the ports are actual exports from each island.  BUT, all the reality is left behind when you go off course and find that you are stranded on an island and need to build huts, escape volcanoes or even find a pirate's treasure!

A very creative and fun game.  I also really like that you can play a full game even if you have limited time available.

A fun game for all ages

South Pacific Adventures plays extremely well across a broad range of ages. Families, friends and neighbors can enjoyably compete against one another without a predictable outcome,
making for an outstanding party and a fun evening.

This is such a good game. It looks quite simple on the face of it, but it is a very strategic game that requires some thinking and decision making while navigating the islands of the South Pacific such as Hawaii, Fiji, Tahiti, delivering goods and avoiding being  stranded in other dangerous islands. The main goal of the game is to pick up and deliver goods between the port
islands while earning money for the service, and ultimately reach the retirement island.
